Real Estate is not for everyone. Most people cannot comprehend how you can do so much for people and you don’t receive a cent until they have had their dreams fulfilled. Rayna McKay grew up in a real estate household so she understands that being a REALTOR® is a lifestyle. Rayna saw her parents enjoy helping other families find the right home, she understands that it is the relationship and bond that develops when REALTORS® truly care about the well-being of the people they work with that is the real payback of this career. She was brought up with the golden rule. Treat others as you would want to be treated.
Rayna started as a real estate assistant when she was just fifteen. She adjusted pictures and made feature sheets for listings. All the time she was working in the office she was listening and learning from top negotiators as they dealt with offers and counter offers.
When her family opened their own real estate brokerage Rayna learned the Lone Wolf Accounting system and was the conveyancing secretary for the company. She looked over all of the contracts to make sure they were complete, sent the instructions to the lawyers and made sure all the funds were transferred.
Rayna understands that real estate is an ever-changing industry and that she will never be finished learning. She has already received many designations that many other REALTORS® have not such as: Certified Condominium Specialist and Accredited Buyers Representative. She has also attended advanced real estate courses; Dwayne Groome Real Estate Seminars, Mark Leader Courses, the CIR Bachelor program and Advanced Negotiation Techniques. She has been a full-time professional REALTOR® since 2006.
Rayna works with RE/MAX Real Estate Advocates, her family's brokerage. Through her association with her team at RE/MAX Complete Realty they have an office close to the city centre with easy parking. They have a great support system and are leaders in the use of technology to enhance your real estate experience.
Rayna understands the needs of first time home buyers. She deals with a majority of first time home buyers and understands the importance of providing information up front in an office meeting so there are no surprises on closing.
